Holiday Party Announcement

Annual Event On Dec 10th

The Framingham Democratic Committee annual holiday party will be taking place Sunday December 10th from 4pm to 6pm.

Location is Edwards Church, 39 Edward Street Framingham.

Members are requested to contribute items such as food and beverage.  They should contact co-chair Rozzy Hooper-Hamersley to coordinate the hospitality details..

Setup starts at 3pm.

 

FDC Members Prevail In 2023 City Elections

Three Contested Council Races Won By FDC Members

The 2023 Framingham city elections had few contested races.  However in three of the contested races for City Council, all three seats were won by members of the Framingham Democratic Committee.

Tracey Bryant, won as the incumbent in District 9.  Brandon Ward won in an open seat race for District 2.  Leslie White Harvey (running against a Democratic incumbent) won in a very close race for District 8.

Nov Business Meeting On 11/29

November Business Meeting At FPL Main Branch

The November business meeting of the Framingham Democratic Committee will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023 starting at 6:30pm.  This takes place in the Framingham Public Library, Main Branch, 49 Lexington Street, Framingham.

The meeting will be held in the Costin Room, doors open at 6pm.

Vacany Filled At Oct Meeting

All 35 Member Seats Now Filled

At the Oct 19, 2023 FDC business meeting one vacancy in the regular membership roster was filled.

The meeting was held at the McAuliffe Branch library where Brandon Ward was elected by acclamation to fill the vacant seat.

The FDC 35-member roster is now filled there are no vacancies.
