7. Program:
- Bob Massie is the first declared Democratic Senate candidate. He is running against Scott Brown. Bob ran for the office of Lieutenant Governor in 1994. He was born with hemophilia and in 2009 received a liver transplant which cured the illness that had been with him since childhood. He lives in Somerville, MA and has three children. Massie advises a New York investment firm about whether companies are too poisonous to invest in. He is a Fellow at Kennedy School of Government. He is an ordained Episcopal priest, an activist and has a PhD from Harvard Business School. His recipe for success is that he is committed to four things: Homes for people, Better Schools, Healthcare, and Jobs. He believes that Massachusetts needs to be great in order for the USA to be great. MA must lead.
Q&A session:
Mel said you are a great guy but are you strong enough to win? Ans. Yes. Many people didn’t think Gov. Patrick, Pres. Obama or even Sen. Scott Brown could win but they did.
