Meet And Greet For Brandon Ward

Brandon Ward, candidate for District 2 City Council, will have a meet-and-greet event hosted by Pam and Peter Richardson at their home on Prior Drive in Framingham.

This is a meet-and-greet to introduce Brandon Ward, who is the only Democrat contesting for the District 2 seat.  (He has an opponent who is with a different party.)

Donations are not required to attend, but certainly welcomed.

The location is 69 Prior Drive, Framingham (off of Central Street).

Date: August 19, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm.

NOTE: The event is planned for outdoors and will be reschedule if weather is not favorable.

2023 City Election Candates

Only Three Contested Races In 2023 Elections

The website’s election page has been updated with the names of Democratic candidates contesting in the 2023 Framingham city elections.  (The page has a link to the city website showing all candidates.)

There will be a preliminary election on September 19th for District 9 Council seat where 2 Democrats and one Republican are contesting.

Friday Concert Series

On June 23rd the Framingham Democratic Committee returned to the Friday Night Concerts on the Green with its voter registration and information table.

Members are requested to volunteer for any of setup, staffing and pack-up of the tent at the Concerts on the Green.

Setup begins at 5:00pm.  Pack-up around 7:30pm.(Read more…)

Updates From 6/11 Meeting

Brief Meeting Held After Caucus

Following the Democratic caucus on June 11, 2023 the Framingham Democratic Committee held a brief business meeting to cover three agenda items.

First the nominations for a regular member vacancy was closed with two nominations submitted, one for Isabella Petroni and the other for Leslie White Harvey.  Seat will be filled by election at the next FDC business meeting.

Volunteers were recruited for two assignments:

  • Staffing the FDC information table at the summer Friday night concerts
  • A planning committee for the summer cook-out
