The Massachusetts Democratic Party has announced that applications are now open for its two programs to help develop the next generations of leaders.

JFK Scholarship
JFK Scholarship recipients are expected to be active participants in democratic organizing or other political work. JFK Scholarship recipients may intern with the MassDems.

 

Joe Moakley Internship
Joe Moakley interns will join our team and get direct experience learning about grassroots organizing, data, communications, and social media.

FDC Supports Legislative Subcommittee Recommendations

Support For Three Bills Voted In Special Meeting

The Framingham Democratic Committee held a special meeting on January 28, 2024 to consider recommendations from the Legislative Subcommittee.  The FDC vote to support the subcommittee’s recommendation on three bills currently being taken up at the Massachusetts State House.

The bills are:

S.2561 An Act Relative to Archaic Laws
H.3852 An Act Supporting Electrical Load Aggregation Programs in the Commonwealth
H3219 An Act Supporting Local Aggregation Programs

Special Meeting Called To Consider Advocacy On Legislation

A special meeting has been called, taking place remotely on Zoom, for the FDC to vote on advocacy for specific legislation.  This pertains to:

– S.2561 An Act Relative to Archaic Laws (attached)
– H.3852 An Act Supporting Electrical Load Aggregation Programs in the Commonwealth
– H3219 An Act Supporting Local Aggregation Programs (attached)

Caucus 2024

Caucus To Elect State Convention Delegates

Framingham Democrats will caucus on Saturday March 2, 2024 to elect Framingham’s delegation for this year’s Democratic State Convention.

The caucus will be held in the Costin Room of the Framingham Public Library, 49 Lexington Street, Framingham.

Registration begins at 1:30pm, call-to-order at 2pm.

An option to participate remotely will be available.
