Framingham Democrats Will Caucus March 8

The Framingham Democratic Caucus to elect state convention delegates will take place on Sunday March 8, 2020 at Framingham High School, 115 A Street, Framingham with registration at 1pm, call to order at 2pm.

The purpose of this caucus is to elect Framingham’s delegation to the 2020 Democratic State Convention taking place at the end of May in the city of Lowell, Tsongas Center.

Framingham has been allocated 34 delegates, plus 6 alternates to send to the state convention.

The 2020 Democratic State Convention is a nominating convention for state-wide offices; there is a contested primary for the US Senate seat that is currently held by Senator Ed Markey.

Doors open at 1pm with registration.  The caucus will be called to order at 2pm.  The registration desk will close at 2:15pm.  The close of registration is strictly enforced per state party guidelines.

Only Democratic voters registered in the City of Framingham are eligible to register for this caucus.  Same-day registration at the caucus will be available to anyone attending the caucus who wishes to change their voter enrollment to the Democratic Party.  Persons who are not eligible to register for the caucus may attend as guests and must seat in the designated guest seating section.
