Discussion For D9 Council Race

Saturday September 9th at 10am will be the next informal gathering at B SIsters Cafe.

Scheduled for 10am, address is 680 Worcester Road (Rt 9, east-bound).

There will be discussion on the District 9 City Council race.

The FDC will have its annual summer event on August 27, 2023 hosted by City Councilor Adam Steiner.  The address is 43 McAdams Road, Framingham.  The event will run 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

There is no rain date, so in the event of inclement weather the event will be canceled.

A speaking program will feature Democratic candidates in this year’s municipal elections.

Brandon Ward, candidate for District 2 City Council, will have a meet-and-greet event hosted by Pam and Peter Richardson at their home on Prior Drive in Framingham.

This is a meet-and-greet to introduce Brandon Ward, who is the only Democrat contesting for the District 2 seat.  (He has an opponent who is with a different party.)

Donations are not required to attend, but certainly welcomed.

The location is 69 Prior Drive, Framingham (off of Central Street).

Date: August 19, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm.

NOTE: The event is planned for outdoors and will be reschedule if weather is not favorable.

Only Three Contested Races In 2023 Elections

The website’s election page has been updated with the names of Democratic candidates contesting in the 2023 Framingham city elections.  (The page has a link to the city website showing all candidates.)

There will be a preliminary election on September 19th for District 9 Council seat where 2 Democrats and one Republican are contesting.

On June 23rd the Framingham Democratic Committee returned to the Friday Night Concerts on the Green with its voter registration and information table.

Members are requested to volunteer for any of setup, staffing and pack-up of the tent at the Concerts on the Green.

Setup begins at 5:00pm.  Pack-up around 7:30pm.(Read more…)
