FDC Information Table Returns To The Green

The Framingham Dems will again have presence at the Friday Night Concerts on Framingham Green with their voter information tent and table.

This year the table will include 3-fold multilingual brochures with information about the Committee.

The table also has voter registration forms and campaign literatures from local and state-wide candidates.

The Friday concerts will run from June 24th to August 19th weather permitting.  Table setup usually begins at 5:30pm. Members are urged to volunteer to staff the tent for at least one concert during the summer.

Framingham Will Have Four Reps Starting In 2023

Following the 2022 redistricting Framingham’s House district lines have been redrawn with significant changes.

The 13th Middlesex, represented by Carmine Gentile of Sudbury, will no longer include a portion of Framingham.

Portions of Framingham are now added to the 4th Middlesex which is represented by Danielle Gregoire of Marlborough. She is on the ballot for 2022 and has no opponent.(Read more…)

FDC Officers Elected

 

At the April 10, 2022 business meeting of the Framingham Democratic Committee the biennial election of officers was held.  The following were elected without opposition:

Chair: Mike Hugo, serving second term

Co-Vice Chair: Rozzie Hooper-Hamersley, serving third term

Co-Vice Chair: Cesar Stewart-Morales, serving second term

Secretary: Doug Lawrence
Treasurer: Larry Stoodt, serving third term
Co-Chair Outreach: Dr. Yvonne Spicer
Co-Chair Outreach: Parwez Wahid, serving first full term

Link To State House Site Map Shows New District

Following the 2020 census district lines were redrawn.  Framingham was impacted as follows:

6th Middlesex is shifted from its present configuration to now represent precincts on the south side of Framingham.

7th Middlesex has been adjusted, taking some portions of the old 6th Middlesex.

13th Middlesex will no longer include Framingham.

4th Middlesex will now include a portion of Framingham

19th Worcester has been created and will include a precinct in Framingham
