Jay Gonzalez and Quentin Palfrey on the Democratic Ticket for the Corner Office

The Massachusetts Democratic Party ticket for governor/lt. governor is comprised of Jay Gonzalez and Quentin Palfrey. This is an exciting pair offering solid knowledge and experience in the machinations of government while prepared to take bold steps to addressing the Commonwealth’s pressing needs and issues.

Jay Gonzalez had served as Secretary of Administration and Finance during the Patrick Administration from 2009 to 2013. Prior to this Gonzalez was an attorney at Boston law firm Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Georgetown University Law Center. He serves on the boards of the Dimock Center, Project Hope, and the Trust for Public Land.

Addressing criminal justice reform, early education and tackling the opioid crisis are among the priority issues for Jay. He recently disclosed his plan to tax the endowments of large private universities in order to generate much needed revenue for transportation and education.
