Many Statewide Candidates In Attendance

After nearly 2 years members of the Framingham Democratic Committee, friends, elected officials and candidates gathered for a warm and enjoyable summer evening.  The annual barbecue returned on August 27, 2022 after a hiatus forced by COVID restrictions and the event did not disappoint.

Many thanks go out to all who were involved in the organization for this event which was hosted by District Council Chair Phil Ottaviani and his wife, School Committee member Valeri Ottaviani.

The long list of candidates included:  Lt. Governor candidate Tami Gouveia, Secretary of State Bill Galvin, candidate for Secretary of State Tanisha Sullivan, candidates for Attorney General: Andrea Campbell, Shannon Liss-Riordan, Quentin Palfrey, candidates for Auditor: Chris Dempsey and Diana DiZoglio, and in a local race the two candidates contesting for the 6th Middlesex House seat, Margareth Shepard and Priscila Sousa.

Also former FDC Chair Beverly Hugo was presented with a cake in recognition of her ten years of service in various elected roles on the FDC Executive Board.
