The Framingham City Council has elected Phil Ottaviani to a second term as chair of the Council. Also the City Council elected Tracey Bryant to serve as the Council’s vice chair. Both Ottaviani and Bryant, who are members of the Framingham Democratic Committee, were re-elected to their respective offices in the 2023 municipal elections.
The FDC held a brief business meeting prior to the annual holiday party on Sunday December 10, 2023.
The Committee voted to approve six new associate members to the FDC.
The new associate members are:

Brandale Randolph
Samantha McGarry
Heather Klish
The FDC co-chairs Cesar Stewart-Morales and Rozzy Hooper-Hamersley have issued a letter of appreciation reflecting on the accomplishments made by the Committee in 2023.
The FDC membership approved holding the January business meeting at a new location on a trial basis.
The meeting will be held on Sunday January 21, 2024 starting at 3pm and running until 6pm.
The location will be B Sisters Cafe at 680 Worcester Road in Framingham, this is on Route 9 eastbound.
This cafe normally closes at 3pm on Sundays. The management has shown willingness to keep the business open for the FDC’s meeting. Members who attend the meeting are requested to support the business by purchasing some food and/or beverage during the meeting time.(Read more…)

Location is Edwards Church, 39 Edward Street Framingham.
Members are requested to contribute items such as food and beverage. They should contact co-chair Rozzy Hooper-Hamersley to coordinate the hospitality details..
