Annual Summer Event taking place at Eastleigh Farms in Framingham

Join the Framingham Democratic Committee for one its most popular events, the annual summer barbeque.

This year’s cookout will be held on Sunday July 29th at Eastleigh Farms located at 1062 Edmands Road in Framingham.

The event will run 4pm to 7pm, with candidates and public officials in attedance and lots of great summer food cooked right off the grill!

There is a suggested donation of $5.

ORDER SET FOR NOVEMBER’S BALLOT QUESTIONS
Question 1.  Proposals to mandate nurse staffing levels, repeal transgender access protections and investigate potentially changing the U.S. Constitution will be decided by Massachusetts voters on Nov. 6. Secretary of State William Galvin on Monday announced the numbers assigned to three questions. Proposed mandatory nurse staffing levels will be
Question 1 on the ballot. That debate will pit much of the health care industry against the Massachusetts Nurses Association.

Question 2 will ask voters if they want to establish a commission to look into the impact of political spending in Massachusetts and recommendations on potential amendments to the U.S. Constitution around that subject.

Question 3 will give voters the option to repeal the transgender public accommodations law that Gov. Charlie Baker signed in 2016.

The Framingham Democratic Committee will operate a voter registration and information table at the Framingham Friday Night Concerts.

Volunteers are needed to staff the table. Tasks involve tent and table setup, hanging and displaying campagin literature. Directing concert goers to the table. Helping potential voters fill their registration form. Break down and packing of material before concert ends.

Available shifts:

• 5:00pm to 7:00pm
• 7:00pm to 8:30pm
