FDTC Will Hold Mayoral Candidates’ Luncheon Forum on Sunday, September 17

The Framingham Town Democratic Committee will be holding its 2017 – 2018 kick-off meeting and luncheon on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in the function room at the Framingham Green Apartments, 136 Maynard Rd. This will be a great opportunity to hear from registered Democrats who are running in the upcoming mayoral primary election, which takes place on September 26th.

11:30 – 12:00: Business Meeting of the Town Committee
12:00 – 1:30:  Lunch
12:30 – 1::30: Mayoral Program

Each of the Democratic candidates for Mayor will be given an opportunity to give a short opening introduction, respond to a few questions in debate format, and to offer a short closing statement.  The candidates will have a chance to talk informally during lunch with the attendees to discuss their campaign issues and answer individual questions as the primary rapidly approaches.  Attendance at the luncheon will present a unique opportunity to meet and discuss your concerns and hear the position of each of the mayoral candidates.

In addition, all Democratic town-wide office candidates will be introduced.

The Town Committee will be collecting non-perishable food items or personal hygiene items for donation to Pathways shelter.  All members are asked, and all guests are encouraged to bring goods to add to our donation.
