Massachusetts Will Allow Voting By Mail In 2020

Legislation has been established to allow voters in Massachusetts to vote by mail starting with the 2020 elections.  This will be available for the September 1st primary and the November 3rd general election.

To obtain a vote-by-mail ballot follow these steps:

1 – Visit this link to obtain a mail-in application:

2 – The link opens a PDF document, print this document

3 – Fill sections 1 and 2 as desired (section 3 is used when assisting another person).  You can check “All 2020 Elections” to request for both the primary and the general election.

4 – Unrolled voters: in section 2, check the desired party for a primary ballot

5 – Be sure to sign and date

6 – Mail to your local city/town clerk.  (The form indicates the deadline dates.)
