Massachusetts Primary September 4th

STATE PRIMARY TAKES PLACE DAY AFTER LABOR DAY

The 2018 Massachusetts state primary will be  held on Tuesday September 4th.

This is the day after the Labor Day holiday weekend and this stands to impact turnout. Polls open at 7am and close at 8pm.

Voters who believe they will not be able to go to their polling station on September 4th may vote by absentee ballot.  An absentee ballot can be obtained by writing to the local city or town clerk’s office requesting a ballot. Also voters can visit their local city or town clerk’s office and submit an absentee ballot over-the-counter.

Further questions on this may be directed to the Framingham City Clerk by calling:
(508) 532-5520.
