Voting Will Be Via Mail-In Ballots

The state of emergency forced by the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the congressional district caucuses that were scheduled for April 25th for the purpose of electing delegates to the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

The DNC itself was moved from July to the week of August 17th, still in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Election of national delegates will be conducted by mail-in ballots.

Only 3 primary candidates reached the 15% threshold in Massachusetts to receive national delegates.  The three are: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Those who are interested in voting for national delegate candidates may request a ballot from the Massachusetts Democratic Party using this link:



Apr 6 – Apr 22: Window to request mail in ballots (using the above link)
Apr 24 : Ballots will be mailed out
May 4 :  Postmark date by which ballots will be considered valid
